Message and File Encryption

• Traditional encryption protocols: The TeraKey application is installed on the user's Windows computer. Authorized users encrypt and decrypt files in seconds, without any involvement in managing encryption keys.

• Automatic Key Management: The TeraKey application on each user computer encrypts and decrypts any file type. This technology was developed by TeraCryption and is protected by US and Canadian patents.

• Unlimited Encryption Keys: There is no need to budget to purchase encryption keys.

​

• Master Encryption key: The hospital will receive a Master Key in an encrypted TeraKey USB to decrypt any file in an emergency. 

​

• Messages and users’ access passwords: They are encrypted and saved in the PageRouter server. No one can open any message or files encrypted by TeraKey unless the user has permission from the TeraCryption administrator.

• Conclusion:  Without the need for an encryption management system, users can treat encrypted files as if they were not encrypted by using Explorer.  Encryption operation is transparent to the users.
